The first is a painting done on a print (maybe an etching?) that I found at an antiques store in Stratford, Connecticut. It was in a frame that I liked, but the frame was falling apart even then. I painted this white pattern on top and actually had it hanging in my own living room for a while. I recently rearranged and decided this might be ready for a new home and possibly a brand new frame. Though it does look kind of nice when it's hung up poster-style too.
The other artwork I added is a 3-color gocco print on wood that I made for a show last summer at SQFT. It's kind of like two prints in one because you can hang it upside down and the king face becomes a queen face. I liked how they looked all together at the show...
