Ornament Swap : Decision Time




I'm doing Kathy and Nicole's Ornament Swap this year and I have two designs drawn. I think I am leaning toward the house design but I kinda like the owl too. Any thoughts?

    I'm going to vote for the house one. I really really like that one. I like the owl one too...maybe it is the color...it feels a little like mr.potato head, but with a pinecone:)

    I also wanted to say, I like in the house one how the pinecone is at also kind of a big evergreen or something tree next to the house.
    Maybe if the leaf/wings were smaller on the owl?

    They are both really cute! I would go with the house. But you could do two and it could be random. I think the owl is a cool idea but it looks deliberately pieced together. Maybe you could arrange it more in a way that makes the coming together of the objects seem accidental.

    not that my opinion matters, but i would just say 'the pinecone and house are safe.' if you want to go for it and surprise them with a lasting impression, i would do the owl. i know i will be thinking about it for days...very inspiring image...but that is just me...

    I like the house - I didn't realise the owl was an owl till I read it and then it was obvious!!
