Over the weekend, I visited my parents in Connecticut and stopped by Jones Family Farms. I used to work there in high school and college, and my mom still works there occasionally. For a few summers during college, my main job was painting photo-ops for pumpkin season. I was happy to see that some of mine are still in rotation. I'm pretty sure this was my first paid illustration work. [The banner in the top photo is more recent and painted by Pat Keegan, a.k.a. my mom. If you know anyone who needs a sign or mural... I'm her agent :)]
I'd just like to say I can attest these are pretty awesome in person, and I'd like to thank the blog author for not posting the photo-op with my head in it:)
